Netflix Egyptian Theatre
Beyond proud that @walisstudio has been commissioned by Netflix HQ in LA to work on an (unpublished) rebranding direction for the Egyptian Theater in the heart of Hollywood established in 1920 after their acquisition. Dedicated for Netflix Film events, premieres, and public showings. Thanks to my amazing team, the brilliant netflix team, egyptologist Ali Habib who helped us build our rebranding story. Using an archive of visual assets to support our story we have brought over 66 pattern sets to life. Studied every posture of ancient performers, looked up every plant representation and every column structure thanks to the visual depictions of our egyptian on temples motifs referenced from The Grammar of Ornament book by Owen Jones from V and A museum.
