TED Global Speaker 2017, Ghada Wali makes the youngest female speaker representing MENA region - She believes that Graphic design can change the world. She is the first Arab designer to speak at the UNESCO headquarters, Paris, France on the celebration of the World Arabic Language Day. The multiple-award-winning designer developed an Arabic typeface that was chosen as one of the best 100 graphic design pieces in the world by the Society of Typographic Arts in Chicago. She won a silver in the International A DESIGN AWARDS, Italy. Her work has been featured in art exhibits around the world and showcased in various articles internationally such as the World Economic Forum, Psychology today, Quartz Africa, Wired Italia & Japan, Slanted Berlin, and many more local and global platforms. Wali's work most recently won the Granshan competition in Munich, as well as two Adobe Design Achievement awards in San Diego. She has been awarded the AWDA, AIAP the women in Design Award in Milan, recognizing the influential women in the field. Wali has been a branding judge of D&AD in 2021, 2022 and 2023 as well as Young guns’19 NY and Golden Drum young competition jury President, Gerety Awards as well as a speaker at IxDA Interaction Design Association Conference. She has interviewed the founder of Behance and VP of Adobe Scott Belsky and invited from Google Arts in their initiative “Colors of Africa” as well as from oneclub of creativity for their AI exhibition.
Most importantly, Wali made it to Forbes Europe's List 2017 (Arts & Immigrants category) which makes her the first Egyptian woman ever to appear in this category. As well as OKAYAFRICA-100WOMEN list 2018. She has been featured on UN Women Egypt and has been representing the Egyptian Women Council empowerment campaign.  Wali holds a BA degree as one of the first design graduates of the German University in Cairo and a MA degree in Visual Communication (focus on new media) from IED Istituto Europeo di Design, Florence, Italy, which she won as a scholarship basis. After which Wali has founded the globally-award winning first all women design studio in Cairo – Wali’s Studio responsible for blue chip diverse accounts such as:  PEPSICO,  Vodafone, UNDP, UNIDO,  UNESCO, Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Intesa San Paolo Milan, Boston Consulting, HSBC, Netflix LA, RATP Dev, and more. Her creative and academic experience includes MI7 Cairo, Fortune Promoseven and J. Walter Thompson, as well as teaching Graphic Design in both the German & American Universities in Cairo for the courses of : Arabic Typography | Graphic Design History |  Illustration | Corporate Design | Layout. She has also recently worked on her online Domestika course, in their HQ, Madrid, Spain.
Most recently she was the only woman selected to represent the youth of Egypt at the opening of the world youth forum Sharm el sheikh, and has been awarded by the president, which makes it the first time in the history of Egypt to recognize and award the field of Graphic Design/Visual Communication and the industry as a whole. Her initiative “Branding Egypt” was approved by the president and mobilized by the country’s institutions.  She was also selected within the top 50 most influential women in Egypt, 2018. Wali has recently kickstarted her entry into the directing scene with a 3million viewed Music Video “Chicalastic”, Ministry of Environment and UNDP on Eco Tourism Campaign, in addition to a number of other digital ads. 
Yasmine Wali is a professional of 10 years + in the heart of communication. Wali's expertise lies in the heart of advertising, marketing, sales and journalism. She has worked on blue chip accounts and has developed branding and communication strategies as well as she created change wherever she has belonged. Her heart lies in mastering interpersonal communication skills, and she skillfully reaches beyond any limits where she has recently worked for. A very dynamic and passionate career she was very lucky to work with the best local FMCG Juhayna, leading advertising agency MI7, biggest online publication in MENA Ahram Online, Real Estate main player Sodic, etc... Her diversity of industries gave her a pivotal edge that wherever she walks by and she just gets into the smell of it. A very passionate, fiery, goal oriented, detailed oriented, very meticulous, a beyonder by all means, and throughout her heart, a true seeker. A seeker of change, of meaning, of creating new flagship, and causing momentum. Nothing seemed more reasonable to her than establishing a studio to continue having this very personal and customized relationship with her clients. So here she is teaming up with the unstoppable omnipresent Ghada Wali to have what we always and we luckily found "Wali's studio".
