The Workshop was created by the Egyptian students from the department of Applied Sciences and Arts at the German university in Cairo with Swiss students from the F+F School for art and media design; it took place between 31st January and 3rd February. The initial idea of the workshop was about connecting identities between the East and West through design. Regarding the circumstances that were taking place in Egypt in this period of time (January- February), the Students, both Swiss and the Egyptian decided to change the subject of the workshop and to demonstrate and express their own feelings about the current situation through Design. Exhibition of the final works at F+F School for Art and Media design, Zurich.
